Navona Square

Piazza Navona is one of the most famous squares of Rome. It was built by the Pamphili family on the structure of the ancient Domitian Stadium. The square includes artistic elements and monuments of the great artists Bernini, Borromini and Rainaldi.
In the center of Piazza Navona you can find the Fountain of the Four Rivers, a baroque opera by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, dominated by the imposing Obelisk of Domitian.
Walking through Piazza Navona you can meet street artists, painters and portraitists. In winter the square is lit with lights, stalls and craft markets.
